Lanterns of hope,

Is what I ignite,

When darkness approaches,

With all its might.

In the darkness of night,

When fear is at peak,

The roads get narrow,

The chances go bleak.

When the waters are unknown,

The air, Smokey.

The path we cannot see,

Is feared to be rocky.

This passage of life,

Brings uncertainty with it,

It tries to throw you down under,

As it Roars, loud as thunder.

Stay valiant,

You have to cope,

Because inside you, there burns,

A lantern, of Hope.

You might feel,

A noose tightening around your neck,

Stay fearless,

As death gives you a peck.

For you will not drown,

In this river of sorrow,

Life is always there,

For you to borrow.

Don’t let this darkness,

Put your life on a rope,

Remember, always,

Inside you, there burns, a lantern of hope.
